Group Therapy

Group therapy courses are intermittently offered to assist with some of the following concerns:

  • coping with chronic pain

  • coping with a chronic medical condition in adolescence

  • preparing for college and the work force

Group therapy courses will be announced as they approach. Enrollment will occur for 4 weeks prior to the start of the course.

Living with a chronic medical condition impacts far more than physical health.

Managing symptoms, navigating medical systems, parenting, coping with uncertainty, and keeping up with school, relationships, and independence can become overwhelming without the right support.

Therapy offers a safe space to build practical coping skills, process difficult emotions, and develop confidence in managing both the medical and psychological aspects of illness. At Adaptive Health Psychology, care is grounded in scientific research and clinical expertise. Your psychotherapist is doctoral-level psychologist with extensive experience working with youth facing complex medical conditions.
